Grant Wachendorf has a Bachelor of Science degree in mathematical finance (2016) from Oral Roberts University. He currently serves as Senior Vice President, Treasurer at Gateway First Bank in Jenks, Oklahoma, which was named the top performing bank by American Bankers Association in the $2billion-$10billion category in 2023. Prior to his role at Gateway he worked with the consulting group that put together the merger of Farmers Exchange Bank and Gateway Mortgage Group, that resulted in the current institution. It was a unique transaction at the time, with a mortgage company effectively acquiring a bank charter via acquisition. In his current role he oversees a Treasury department that is responsible for funding and liquidity activities, asset and liability management (ALM), and financial planning and analysis. Grant has enjoyed growing with and being given the opportunity to build a team at this unique local financial institution.
Grant and his wife, Sarah, met at Oral Roberts and reside in Tulsa. In his time outside of work he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, playing golf, hunting or most any other activity that involves being active outdoors.
