Brien Brown is the Vice President and Chief Information Officer for ONEOK, and has held that position for almost 14 years. He is responsible for all information technology functions, including personnel, hardware, software and the communications infrastructure necessary to support the business segments.
Brown joined ONEOK in 2009 as director, corporate applications. Prior to that, he was a pre-sales consultant for SAP Americas. He also held positions as a systems analyst and IT manager for CITGO Petroleum Corporation. Brown began his career as an auditor and certified public accountant for PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Brown is a certified public accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Association of Information Technology Professionals. He participates in projects for the Tulsa Area United Way and Habitat for Humanity. He served as co-executive sponsor of the ONEOK Women’s Resource Group and other Business Resource Groups. He also served as a member of the University of Oklahoma Price College of Business Board of Advisors.
An Oklahoma native, Brown earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting and management information systems in 1989 from the University of Oklahoma.
