Class of 1986
Daphne Thomas Kasperek (formerly Daphne David), is a Bible-believing, Christ-following
alumna. She obtained a B.S. at ORU in Biomedical Chemistry in 1986, then entered ORU
medical school on the Healing Team Scholarship. As a student, Daphne was active in
the International Student Body, and was vice president of the pre-medical honor society.
She participated in Vespers, Bible studies, and missions trips. Today, Daphne is a
board-certified emergency physician. She co-founded a medical group, Commonwealth
Emergency Physicians. Daphne and her husband enjoy a blended family of five adult
children. She leads multiple yearly medical missions trips worldwide. She supports
ORU students with Whole Leader Scholarships and is involved with the ORU alumni in
the Washington, D.C. metro area.
