2017 - 2018 Athletics Points of Pride
- 1st time to host the Summit League Outdoor Track & Field Championships.
- 3 ORU teams honored with NCAA Public Recognition Awards.
- 15th time to host the Summit League Baseball Championships.
- ORU had two All-Americans, with Israel Nelson (110-meter hurdles) and Mercy Abire (long jump) each earning the honor during the 2018 outdoor track season.
- ORU Baseball won the Summit League regular season and tournament championships for the 19th time in 19 years as members of the league.
- ORU won 13 of the top individual awards from The Summit League, including sweeping the Player of the Year, Pitcher of the Year, Newcomer of the Year and Coach of the Year awards for baseball.
- Albert Owens (MBB) was a DI-AAA ADA Scholar - Athlete for selection for the second year in a row.
- To date, ORU has produced a total of 134 All-Americans.
- During the last 21 years, the Golden Eagles have won 151 conference championships and made 83 NCAA Tournament appearances.
- Golden Eagles currently compete in 16 NCAA Division I men's and women's varsity sports.
2018-2019 Campus-wide updates
- ORU is currently building a new dorm - our first in 42 years! The goal is to have the dorm ready for move-in by the fall 2019 semester.
- ORU has purchased buildings and seven acres of land from Victory Tulsa on the southwest corner of 81st and Delaware. ORU plans to begin remodeling this area immediately into a multi-purpose complex that will house Nursing, Engineering, Health Sciences, Counseling Services, ORU's Online operations team and golf team. The new facility is expected to open later in 2019.
