Tom Shaughnessy

Segment III (1990-1999)
Tom Shaughnessy received his bachelor's degree in Business Management. He has been
a Financial Adviser for the past 24 years, first living in New Hampshire with his
wife Lisa and two children, Bridget and Nathan. In June 2017, the family moved to
Oklahoma and now live in the Tulsa metro area.
Tom is a partner with a longtime friend with the same wealth management firm, OND
Financial Solutions, and they have an office in Tulsa. While in New Hampshire, Tom
helped a local church grow. He served as Strategic Leadership Chairperson, led a $5.5
million new facility build-out, played drums on the worship team, and volunteered
with his family each week. The family was also active with CareNet Pregnancy Center
as well as serving on the board of the YMCA. As an ORU student, Tom served as Freshman
Council President, played drums and ran sound for the worship team, was with the men's
soccer program and on the cheerleading team for two years, was very active in intramural
sports, served as Vice President of Services for Student Association, and traveled
with the Frontline worship team. He now serves the university as President of the
ORU Athletics Golden Eagle Club Board. Tom and Lisa’s daughter is a sophomore at ORU,
and their son is a freshman at Lincoln Christian School. The family attends Church
on the Move.
