Dr. Anthony Herron, Jr., D.Min. is the senior pastor of Remnant Church in Midwest City, Oklahoma. He is passionate about serving God by helping people and teaching future leaders how to grow and succeed. While attending Oral Roberts University, Anthony participated in many activities, including the Freshman Leadership Council, ORU Accounting Society, Music Ministries/Souls A’Fire, and community outreach.

Anthony graduated summa cum laude from ORU with a degree in Accounting and earned other advanced degrees, including a master’s in Adult and Higher Education Administration from the University of Oklahoma, a master’s in Practical Theology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University (Nelson University), and a Doctor of Ministry in Ministry Leadership from Liberty University, with high distinction honors.

A bi-vocational minister, Anthony is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with over 18 years helping organizations manage risks and improve operations. He started his public accounting career at Ernst & Young in Tulsa, OK. Anthony was the first corporate internal audit leader at Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, founded Herron CPA, PLLC to help churches, small businesses, and nonprofits with taxes and accounting matters, and currently serves as a senior consultant for Banner Health. 

Anthony volunteers with community groups, including the Salvation Army of Central Oklahoma. He completed programs to grow as a leader, such as Leadership Midwest City, United Way of Central Oklahoma Board Serve, and the Association of College and University Auditors emerging leaders. He resides in the Oklahoma City area and enjoys fishing and reading in his spare time. Anthony is married to Dr. Ashley Herron, Ed.D., a 2006 ORU graduate, and they have three sons.
