According to a VA study, there are four reasons that veterans don’t seek counseling. They are access, knowledge, belief, and social support. Here at ORU, we strive to fight back against these stigmas to:

1. Offer care that is right here at the University.

2. Acknowledge the signs and symptoms of PTSD and mental health issues.

3. Provide the appropriate support structure through Resident Advisors, Peer Counselors, Success Coaches, Chaplains, a Student Veteran Association, and a Military Liaison.

Our counselors are first-class and committed to your care.
