Program Overview

Part of the College of Theology, the Christian Caregiving and Lay Counseling program will provide you with methods and resources for a profession or lay ministry in a variety of pastoral settings. The core of the Theology department is to promote Spirit-led growth and increase your knowledge of the Bible. Through your understanding of God’s Word and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, you will be equipped to bring the healing ministry of Jesus to your profession.

As a Christian Caregiving and Lay Counseling major, your coursework will include: Hermeneutics, teaching the Bible, principles of psychology, research seminar, introduction to theology and ethics.
