researcher, or lay counselor. While this degree provides a strong biblical and counseling foundation, counseling
professionals typically need a master’s degree and state licensure requirements to
become licensed counselors. Requirements vary by state. The program also serves as
an excellent foundation for graduate study in counseling, ministry, theology, or pastoral
