The COVID-19 pandemic has led to a gap in many businesses for skills such as technology and marketing as we begin the arduous process of reopening or simply pivoting to the new economic environment.
As a solution, we are launching a new internship program called THRIVE: Empower students to fuel our community. This innovative win-win solution aims to meet small businesses' needs and students' lack of employment opportunities. This will be a great opportunity for employers to acquire a talented intern and for students to have hands-on experience. Note to employers:
- You will receive a list of students (and their resumes) who are interested in finding an internship by the last week of May.
- You'll be responsible for choosing a few students, contacting them to set-up an interview, negotiate payment, and move forward from there.
- Please be aware that we have students who have moved back home to every state in the U.S. and all over the world due to the global pandemic. To increase your chances of getting an intern for your specific needs, we recommend you consider allowing the interns to work remotely.
