On-Campus Employment Requirements

At ORU, students can gain valuable work experience and earn money through the University’s Work-Study Program. If you’re a full-time, on-campus student, you may qualify to work in various departments across the university.

  • Gather these documents:
    • Your bank account details for direct deposit

  • Read each job description carefully to ensure a good fit

  • Click “I Want to Apply” on the job listing to submit your application

Once you complete the following steps above, a hiring manager will review your application and contact you if selected for an interview. If you are chosen for a job, the Student Employment Office will process your hiring details and reach out with next steps.

COMPLETE THE HIRING PROCESS

Once selected, you must complete all required paperwork before starting your job. ORU follows U.S. federal hiring guidelines, meaning only original identification documents can be accepted (no copies or faxes). Congratulations on landing the job!
