Degree

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The College of Education offers you the unique opportunity to graduate in four years with dual certification. A Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Elementary Education enables you to teach first through eighth grade in most subject areas, except 7th and 8th grade math. The additional certification in Early Childhood equips you with another philosophy of teaching and enables you to teach Pre-K through third grade. It ensures you can work as a professional caregiver in infant/toddler settings, too. Aligned with national and state standards, successfully completed programs lead to Oklahoma Teacher Certification and can be transferred to other states as well as internationally.
