Joshua has played a pivotal role in Paraguay’s financial sector, serving for over six years as President of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Paraguay, where he led groundbreaking initiatives to modernize financial markets, promote transparency, and drive investment. During this time, he also presided over the Instituto Iberoamericano del Mercado de Valores, fostering collaboration and regulatory integration across capital markets in Ibero-America. His expertise and leadership have made him a sought-after speaker at global forums, including events hosted by The Economist, where he provides insights on financial innovation and economic growth.
In addition to his work in finance, Joshua serves as pastor at Centro Familiar de Adoración, Paraguay’s largest evangelical church, founded by his father. Under his leadership, the church continues to raise leaders and transform communities. Its educational efforts include providing biblical and leadership training to over 1,500 individuals per semester through an institute of higher education focused on theology and a Center for Bible Studies.
Joshua’s academic achievements include an MBA with distinction from Oxford University and a summa cum laude Bachelor of Science in Finance from Oral Roberts University.
