Oral Roberts University has resolved that two vendors, the National Student Clearinghouse (NSC) and Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association (TIAA), were impacted by the MOVEit Transfer vulnerability.
This incident involves the MOVEit Transfer software used by one of TIAA's and NSC's third party vendors. That vendor experienced a cyber-attack that exposed certain personal information. This is part of a global incident.
Currently there are no reports that any Oral Roberts University Student, Staff or Alumni information was obtained from TIAA or NSC systems, and that TIAA or NSC systems are not threatened, and that TIAA of NSC has seen no related unusual activity involving TIAA or NCS Oral Roberts University accounts.
MOVEit Transfer is not used at Oral Roberts University. We are analyzing and investigating the incident and the impact to the Oral Roberts University community.
