I need to alert everyone to a newly discovered issue which prevents me from setting the GOATPAC Third Party ID (GOBTPAC_EXTERNAL_USER) to the Primary SSO Username in Production prior to the Mock 3 export tomorrow night. This is a change we need eventually to migrate to SaaSTest for testing of EUP and ILP. We knew that GOBTPAC_EXTERNAL_USER is currently being used for mappings to BDMS (among other things). While cleaning up the BDMS accounts to match intended usernames we discovered that the GOBTPAC_EXTERNAL_USER / BDMS_USERNAME must also match the Oracle (Banner) username if the user is defined for Fund/Org security. To set GOBTPAC_EXTERNAL_USER in current production would break the accounts for some key Finance users. All tolled [sic], there are 315 accounts I need to review and reconcile prior to making this change. I do not yet have a method to resolve these.
Ircka provided an Enrollment/Registration Steps presentation outlining the proposed solution for the enrollment / registration steps process, which includes the customized TWAREGS page. This was developed based on our previous discussions and is intended to support conversations with other ORU stakeholders who will be impacted by this process. ORU to present to their internal teams.
