Yes! We work diligently to consider your previous college-level credits. After you
apply and submit your official college transcript(s), we will evaluate your coursework
and create an official Transfer Evaluation for you to review. We also offer transfer tools to help you get an early idea of how courses may apply, though those tools are guides,
not the official evaluation. ORU’s Registrar notes that a maximum of 72 semester hours
from a two-year/community college and 98 credit hours from a four-year institution
may be transferred to ORU, with at least 30 hours of your degree required to be completed
through ORU.
Yes! You may live on campus and experience our vibrant residential community. Once
admitted and after completing the appropriate enrollment steps, you can complete the
housing application, choose a room and meal plan, and access room selection through
the ORU housing portal.
Yes! You may qualify for financial aid, including scholarships, grants, loans, and
other aid opportunities. We encourage US Citizens and Permanent Residents to submit
the FAFSA using ORU’s school code 003985 so the Financial Aid team can build a personalized
aid offer.
Once you complete the transfer application process, you will receive an admissions
decision within three business days.

Terms & Conditions ORU's Transfer Student Guarantee applies to the timely delivery of services, including
transcript retrieval efforts, degree pathway evaluation, and admission consideration,
for students who submit a complete application and all required documentation. This
guarantee does not constitute a promise or assurance of transfer credit acceptance,
applicability of credits toward a specific program, admission into any particular
program, eligibility for accelerated or graduate coursework, or completion of a degree
within any specific timeframe. All transfer credit evaluations are subject to institutional
policies, accreditation standards, course equivalency, verification of official records,
and results may change if additional information is received. Degree plans are estimates
for planning purposes only and may vary based on individual academic progress and
program requirements. By participating, students acknowledge that "guarantee" refers
solely to service delivery timelines and processes, not academic or outcome-based
results.
