Is ORU’s online MBA program accredited?

Yes. ORU Online is accredited by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The Fenimore & Fisher College of Business is also accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP), ensuring the program meets high academic and industry standards.

How long does it take to complete the MBA program?

The MBA program is 35.5 credit hours and can be completed in as little as 24 months when attending full-time. Students take one 3-credit course per 7-week term. 

Do I need a business background to apply?

No. Students without a prior business degree can still apply. ORU Online offers leveling courses to help students build foundational business knowledge before advancing into graduate-level coursework.

Does ORU Online offer student support during the MBA program?

Yes. Students are supported by dedicated Success Coaches, faculty mentors, and academic resources. The program also includes a cohort model, allowing students to learn alongside a community of professionals.
