This concentration equips you to become a world-changing doctor. You can graduate
with healthcare experience in physics, biology, organic chemistry, and mathematical
analysis. This concentration prepares you for a range of allied health careers such as physician

Students can also shadow local health professionals—including doctors, nurse practitioners,
PAs, OTs, and PTs—to explore healthcare careers firsthand.
Additional opportunities include serving on ORU’s global medical missions teams and
volunteering with Good Samaritan Health Services, a mobile clinic providing care to
underserved Tulsa communities.
ORU is also one of the few undergraduate programs in the Southwest offering human
cadaver dissection, giving you a distinct advantage as an aspiring physician.
The $1.14 million grant was awarded to Oral Roberts University to provide internships,
scholarships, and other educational experiences to students who commit to teaching
secondary-level math or science in a high-need school district.
