Program Overview

Oral Roberts University’s exciting and rigorous Pre-Veterinary Medicine program can equip you to become a Spirit-empowered healer of God’s precious creatures. You can graduate competent in the best of medical research and confident with real-world experience.

More than this, our unique mission to develop Holy Spirit-empowered leaders through Whole Person Education can set you apart as a health professional to impact the world. You’ll experience a life-transforming education that will prepare you to address the physical health and disease prevention well-being of the beloved animals in your care. Now, more than ever, your God-given abilities are needed in this heart-centered career!

We understand that you are unique! You will receive individual counsel on the specific preparatory requirements in your pursuit of veterinary medicine. All pre-professional programs at ORU start with a general set of courses based on the admission requirements of representative schools in that field.

Our commitment to equip Spirit-empowered leaders is why you can graduate from this program fully prepared to past one of three tests required by U.S. veterinary schools: the GRE, the VCAT or the MCAT.
