Program Features
Internships
Students pursuing a sociology degree at ORU gain hands-on experience through internships that connect classroom learning with real-world social issues and professional goals. Internship opportunities have included community organizations, nonprofit agencies, government offices, research centers, social service programs, advocacy groups, and public policy organizations. These placements deepen students’ understanding of society, develop practical skills, and often open doors to full-time careers or graduate study after graduation
