- The general fee listed above covers matriculation and general student activities such as health services, campus security, campus publications, intramurals, library services, athletic events, and others.
- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires that evidence of adequate financial support for educational expenses for a full year be submitted to ORU before the University can issue a Form I-20.
- If you are married and your spouse and/or children will accompany you to the U.S., please note that additional funds will be required. Support for your dependents must amount to $6,000 for a spouse and $4,000 for each child.
- Other estimated miscellaneous costs for the year may include airline tickets, school supplies, student health insurance, required vaccinations, visa fees, cell phone services, and housing for summer or winter break.
- The International Student Fee helps to cover exclusive services provided by the university to international students. These include special events, such as the new international student orientation and non-residential tax filing; immigration services from the university’s DSOs, including CPT and OPT applications; and the purchase and maintenance of software for immigration services.
