 GROUP FITNESS CLASSES- begin Tuesday, January 21, 2020


SPIN - Mondays @ 5:15 p.m.

Everyone finishes first in this class! Pedal in a group, roll over hills, chase the pack, climb mountains, and spin your way to burning calories and strengthening your lower body. This class is geared for anyone that can ride a bike! Motivating music and an inspiring group environment helps you reach your fitness goals. 

BARRE - Tuesdays @ 6:45 p.m.

Barre fuses concepts of ballet, Pilates, and conditioning. It focuses on postural strength and alignment. Light weights are used to tone the arms, while the barre is used to sculpt the lower body and the abs. The class moves down to the mat for core work and stretching. This ballet-inspired routine sculpts the entire body and results in a long, lean physique.

CYCLE FUSION - Wednesdays @ 5:15 p.m.

This class combines indoor cycling with cardio and strength training to help you increase both your endurance and power. This class will challenge you and change your body. Great for all fitness levels!

ZUMBA - Thursdays @ 5:15 p.m.

This class features aerobic/fitness interval training with a combination of fast and slow rhythms that tone and sculpt the body. It utilizes the principles of fitness interval training to maximize caloric output, fat-burning and total body toning. It is a mixture of body-sculpting movements with easy-to-follow dance steps. 

CROSS-TRAINING - Saturdays @ 11:00 a.m.

This class builds strength and endurance by using a variety of exercises and activities. It's a whole body workout in a simple-to-follow format. It combines elements of cardio and weight training to help you reach your fitness goals. 

Group Fitness classes are 45 minutes in duration
and are FREE with a valid ORU ID.  



Training sessions with a certified Personal Trainer are available. Sessions are approximately 55 minutes and are tailored to individual goals. Free Fitness Assessments are also available to students, faculty and staff. Stop by the Aerobics Center Front Desk or click here to complete a fitness assessment application. Discounts are available for ORU Students, Faculty and Staff.
