The Graduate School in the Oral Roberts University College of Theology and Ministry invites qualified candidates to apply for a full-time faculty position as an Assistant or Associate Professional Counseling Professor beginning in August, 2020.
Compatibility with ORU's spiritual and religious values, sensitivity to diversity issues, and commitment to professional ethics are required.
Duties
Candidates will be expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching graduate-level counseling courses, to advise students, serve on departmental committees, assist in accreditation and attend University faculty meetings as a full-time faculty member representing the Graduate School of Theology & Ministry.
Requirements
Candidate must have a PhD in Counselor Education and Supervision, preferably from a CACREP accredited program, and hold state licensure as a professional counselor or marriage and family therapist. Previous experience teaching in a counselor education program, functioning as a mental health clinician, and previous administrative experience is desired.
