New Student Checklist

Your next step begins in VISION, ORU’s enrollment and registration system—bookmark this website for easy access in the future.

• Locate your Z-number on your acceptance letter.
• Then, log in to VISION using your Z-number and PIN (your six-digit birth date: MMDDYY).

• Pay the $299 enrollment fee to confirm your spot in ORU’s incoming class
• Choose to pay online, by phone, or by mail
• If paying by mail, include your name and Z-number on the check or money order (payable to Oral Roberts University)
• Mail payments to:
  ORU Undergraduate Admissions
   7777 South Lewis Avenue
   Tulsa, OK 74171

• Log in to VISION
• Click “Personal Information”
• Select Create/Update Username, Password, and Email Address
• Delete the preset address and create your own ORU email and password

If you haven’t already, file your FAFSA to be considered for grants, scholarships, and other financial aid opportunities. Once you receive your award, accept it and set up a payment plan or pay your balance so you’ll be ready to complete your registration and start your ORU journey! 

File the FAFSA and Accept Financial Aid Award

• File your FAFSA using school code 003985 to apply for federal, state, and ORU scholarships and aid
• Check your financial aid status for any outstanding requirements
• Accept your financial aid award to have it applied to your account

• Log in to VISION → Select Registration Quick Links → Choose your Aid Year
• Pay your remaining balance in full OR
• Set up a monthly payment plan by selecting Payment Options → Enroll in a Monthly Payment Plan

Now it’s time to start shaping your day-to-day life at ORU! Apply for housing and select your room and meal plan so you can get excited about your dorm, the friends you’ll make, and the fun you’ll be part of every day.

• Click Housing to complete your housing application and reserve your spot

• Gather your required health and immunization records
• Log in to VISION to submit your information
• Ensure all documents are submitted before your arrival

Review Your Class Schedule & Textbooks
Your academic journey is about to begin! Here’s how to review your schedule and get ready for classes:

• Class Schedule: Incoming first-year students will have their class schedule created for them. Once it’s ready, you’ll receive an email with instructions to view it in VISION.
• Textbooks: ORU offers all required textbooks for a flat fee of $355 per semester.
