Program Overview

ORU’s Biblical Literature program is an exciting and interesting major that is designed to give you a greater understanding and application of the Word of God. As a Biblical Literature major, you will begin to interpret the Bible through the lens of a theological and historical framework accessed by hermeneutical and exegetical tools.  

If you choose to major in Biblical Literature at ORU, you will have the option to choose one of three concentrations: English Bible, Old Testament or New Testament.
