What makes ORU’s Theatre: Design and Theatrical Production program stand out?
ORU Theatre lets you experience on- and off-campus theatrical productions where you gain practical theatre experience. The theatre department works closely with The Playhouse Tulsa, a professional regional theatre company, to produce theatrical opportunities for you at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center and other local venues. You will also have access to Alpha Psi Omega, a national, honorary and dramatic society, to help stimulate interest in theatrical activities both on and off the ORU campus.
On top of this, you’ll learn directly from faith-grounded theatre professionals who know what it takes to succeed in this creative industry. Our current students and alumni have worked on Broadway, film, television and in major theaters across the country and with dedication, passion and hard work, you can too!

Are there scholarships available?
