Concentrations

Pastoral Care and Chaplaincy (PCC)

This concentration will equip you to receive Board Certification for military, hospital, institutional or organizational chaplaincy.

Addictions Counseling

This concentration will prepare you to provide support to individuals in recovery for alcoholism or other types of drug addiction.

Practices of Ministry

This concentration will strengthen your skills in preaching, teaching, leadership, and worship, preparing you for effective service in diverse ministry settings.

Marriage and Family Therapy

This concentration will prepare you to provide Christ-centered counseling and guidance to couples and families, addressing relational challenges and fostering healthy, thriving relationships.

Academic Studies

This concentration will prepare you to articulate a foundational knowledge of biblical literature, Christian theology, and church history with an emphasis on the Spirit-empowered tradition and a demonstrated capacity to apply this learning to contemporary issues.

Program Features

This Master of Divinity program equips students to interpret biblical texts in Greek or Hebrew using critical exegetical tools and provides foundational knowledge of key figures, movements, and methods in Christian theology and history. Students gain the biblical, theological, and ethical insight needed to address contemporary social issues and develop practical ministry skills for diverse traditions, settings, and cultures. The program also encourages students to articulate a theology of ministry rooted in their personal calling and promotes a Spirit-empowered understanding of the person and work of the Holy Spirit.
