Online Doctor of Business Administration Launching in Fall 2026

Tulsa, Oklahoma, April 14, 2026—This Fall, Oral Roberts University (ORU) will be launching a new online Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) program, created for experienced professionals seeking to advance their leadership, research, and strategic impact in today’s global marketplace. The 54-credit-hour program is designed to be completed in as little as three years, offering a flexible format tailored for working professionals.

The fully online DBA program was developed in response to growing national demand for doctoral-level business professionals. The program will integrate advanced business theory with practical application, equipping students to solve complex organizational challenges, drive innovation, and lead with purpose across industries. Courses are delivered in an accelerated seven-week format, allowing students to pace themselves while balancing professional responsibilities. Students will have the opportunity to engage in real-world business challenges while contributing meaningful insights to their organizations and industries.

The DBA program builds on ORU’s foundation in doctoral education and complements the Doctor of Strategic Leadership (DSL) by offering a more business-focused, research-driven pathway. While the DSL centers on leadership formation, the DBA emphasizes applied business strategy, data-informed decision-making, and practice-based research—equipping professionals to lead at the intersection of theory and execution.
