ORU Achieves Historic Spring Enrollment Growth

Tulsa, Oklahoma, February 19, 2026 —Oral Roberts University’s (ORU) Spring enrollment of 5,720 grew by 4.9%, compared to Spring 2025 of 5,453. Residential student retention from Fall to Spring remained strong at 92%. With 17 consecutive years of growth, ORU enrollment continues to break records, with the Fall 2025 class representing not only the most first-year students ever but also the biggest Move-In Day on campus. "Growth in enrollment is ultimately growth in trust," said ORU President Dr. William Wilson. "Students are choosing ORU because they refuse to sacrifice one dream for another. Parents want their sons and daughters to excel academically without compromising their faith—to be challenged intellectually while being grounded spiritually. Key Highlights for Spring 2026 • Overall Enrollment Growth: Total enrollment increased by 4.90%, from Spring 2025 to Spring 2026, demonstrating sustained student interest and engagement.  • Online Student Enrollment: Online enrollment grew by 12.60%, demonstrating increasing demand for flexible, high-quality academic programs.  • Virtual Student Enrollment: Virtual enrollment surged by 126.50%, highlighting the University’s strategic expansion of innovative learning platforms and global accessibility. • Full-Time Equivalency (FTE): Total full-time equivalency increased by 5.10%, reflecting strong full-time student commitment and retention among full-time students. • Graduate FTE: Graduate programs saw a 12.90% increase in FTE, signaling growing interest in advanced degrees and professional preparation development. “Beyond buildings and numbers, said Alison Vujnovic, Vice President of Enrollment Management, “what excites us most is witnessing this generation say 'yes' to ORU's Spirit-empowered education.
