A Tulsa Tradition: ORU’s Christmas Concert 2025, “Welcome, Christmas: An Advent Celebration”
Tulsa, Oklahoma 2025—Oral Roberts University (ORU) will host its annual Christmas concert on Friday, December 5, 2025 at 7 p.m. in the Mabee Center (doors open at 6:00 PM). This year’s gala, “Welcome, Christmas: An Advent Celebration,” will feature seasonal music, dance, and artistic performances by ORU students, faculty, and community partners. Admission to the event is free with the donation of a new, unwrapped toy to benefit the John 3:16 Mission Christmas Store.

Wilson. “Our Christmas gala brings together exceptional performers in a vibrant expression of joy, hope, and worship. We’re especially honored to partner with John 3:16 Mission to help bless Tulsa families during the Christmas season. ORU remains committed to excellence in the arts and to serving our city with the love of Christ.”
This year’s celebration will showcase performances by the ORU Chorale, the ORU Orchestra, the ORU Dance Ensemble, and the School of Worship, Media & Performing Arts. Attendees can expect a rich variety of Christmas classics, Advent reflections, and artistic presentations that highlight the creativity and talent within ORU’s expanding fine arts programs.
Donated toys will support the John 3:16 Mission Christmas Store, which serves children and teens by offering discounted gifts for local parents. A toy wish list is available on the John 3:16 Mission website.
Doors will open at 6:00 p.m., with entry through the Mabee Center North Lobby.
ORU’s annual Christmas gala is part of the University’s ongoing commitment to the
