ORU is honored at annual PRSA Tulsa Awards for "A Word for You"

Oral Roberts University won an Award of Merit in the Audiovisual-External Program category for "A Word For You with Dr. Mark Rutland" from The Tulsa chapter of the Public Relations Society of America. The local organization honored Tulsa area's top public relations, marketing and communications professionals at its annual Silver Link Awards banquet held on June 21. "A Word for You" is coordinated by Jeremy C. Burton, APR, director of public relations from ORU, and produced by Roy Baker and University Media Relations.

"A Word For You" is a free weekly video devotional presented by ORU President Dr. Mark Rutland. The program is sent via e-mail to subscribers that request it.

The objective of the Silver Link Awards is to recognize the most outstanding public relations and marketing communication efforts in the Tulsa area, and to provide a constructive critique by a distinguished panel of judges for each entry.
