Jo Ann Robinson is the newest faculty with AVCON, bringing to Oral Roberts University
over 32 years of experience in health care. Jo Ann is a registered nurse at Saint
Francis Hospital where she has been employed since 1984. Her specialties include oncology,
bone marrow transplant, hospice and palliative nursing. She has also worked at Bailey
Medical Center in Owasso as a medical and bariatric nurse.
Jo Ann has recently completed her Master's Degree in Nursing from Kaplan University
and is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. She was
2010 recipient for the preceptor ship-mentor award at Saint Francis Hospital. Joe
Ann serves in her community by volunteering to teach health education in low income
communities and as a board member of the Fitting Back In (F.B.I) a prison integration
program.
Jo Ann is the wife of husband John, mother of S daughters, and grand-mother of five
girls and one boy. She and her family are faithful members at Transformation Church
Greenwood. Her hobbies include traveling,reading, and decorating. She contributes
any and all accomplishments in her life to her trust and faith in God and His faithfulness
to her. Joe Ann envisions nursing as a demonstration of God's compassion and love
to humanity through the use of willing vessels, ORU is an awesome university to share
this vision.
