FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHO CAN ATTEND AND WHAT IS THE COST?

Quest is free to high school sophomores, juniors, seniors and transfer students. Quest Plus is $50 for high school juniors, seniors and transfer students. Quest Premier is $50 and invitation only. Parents/sponsors passes for Quest Plus are free.

WHAT ABOUT LODGING?

If you are a student (23 years and under) registered for Quest Plus, you have the opportunity to stay overnight in the dorms. Parent/Sponsors will need to find overnight accommodations off-campus. Click here for a list of hotels in the area with an ORU discount.

WHAT EVENT DO YOU RECOMMEND IF I DON’T KNOW IF ORU IS FOR ME YET?

If you're unsure about ORU, we recommend that you join us for our one-day Quest event! This will give you an opportunity to experience what ORU is all about without any financial commitment.

HOW CAN I GET INVITED TO QUEST PREMIER?

To get invited to Quest Premier, you need to be accepted to ORU, have registered and paid for Quest Plus, received a nomination for the Quest Whole Leader Scholarship, and submitted your Quest Essay.

WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?

The dress code will vary depending on the activity, but business casual attire is suggested for the competition. For a packing list for Quest Plus and Premier, click here.

HOW CAN I COMPETE IF I CAN'T MAKE ANY OF THE DATES?

Unfortunately, the competition is limited to those who are able to attend a Quest event.

It was AMAZING to be on campus, you could feel the presence of the Lord there! I attend a private Christian school that acknowledges the spirit, but does not fully walk in the gifts of the spirit and it was so good to experience a community of peers like that. I am leader at school, but I often feel isolated and out of place there, but I did not feel that while I was here. I know ORU will position me where I won't have to always pour out, but constantly be poured into as well.

My mother and I were ready to give up on finding a good college and we didn’t know much about ORU but weren’t gonna get our hopes up, but it was amazing!
