Program Overview

We can help provide a place to learn that gives you flexibility, room to explore, time to finish and preparation for any future you seek.

The ORU art program recognizes the study of art is an expression of an individual's beliefs and endeavors to nurture each student's creativity, ability and call to be a Christian. Students receive a foundation blending creative experiences with a basic knowledge of art past and present. Students selecting this degree will receive a broad range of general studies in art and design disciplines. The primary focus of the BA is to give a breadth of general studies in the arts and humanities.

What about accreditation?

As a university, we meet the accreditation standards set by the Higher Learning Commission (HLC). The program follows the guidelines established by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD).

Are there scholarships available?

Nearly 100% of our full-time, undergraduate residential students receive ORU grants and scholarships through academic achievement and through ORU’s premier scholarship opportunity of our Quest Whole Leader Scholarship.
