Direct Costs

Keep in mind, that most of our undergraduate students benefit from scholarships, federal assistance and our interest-free payment plans, which can greatly help you reduce the need to borrow. We’d love to help you create a financial plan.

*The financial aid budgeted amount for Room and Board is based on the cost of a meal plan with a standard double room. Your actual cost may change depending on the room type you select. 

As a full-time residential student, you can save during the fall and spring semesters through our block tuition. Block tuition means you pay one flat rate per semester for a course load between 12–18.5 credit hours.

*If you enroll in less than 12 credit hours, you’d pay the standard cost per credit hour ($1,290). If you enroll in more than 18.5 credit hours in a semester, you’d pay the block-tuition rate plus the standard cost per additional credit hour.

Commuter meal plans are non-refundable, non-transferable plans that expire at the end of the academic school year.

  • **Miscellaneous costs to be considered are medical insurance (if not covered by private carrier), travel expenses and personal expenses. Costs will vary.
    Costs reflect current charges for the 2022-2023 academic year and are subject to change.
  • The general fee listed above covers matriculation and general student activities such as health services, campus security, campus publications, intramurals, library services, athletic events, and others.
  • U.S. Department of Homeland Security requires that evidence of adequate financial support for educational expenses for a full year must be submitted to ORU before the University can issue a Form 1-20.
  • If you are married and your spouse and/or children will accompany you to the U.S., please note that additional funds will be required. Support for your dependents must amount to $6,000 for a spouse and $4,000 for each child.
