Tulsa, Okla.— Oral Roberts University (ORU) is reporting 4,629 students for the 2022 Spring enrollment. With a 2021 Spring enrollment of 4,153, the University grew by 11.5%, continuing a trend of unprecedented growth. Last fall, ORU saw historic enrollment numbers, with the student body increasing for the 13th consecutive year. ORU’s student body is a diverse community, consisting of 17.5% African American, 13% Hispanic, and 18% International. With exceptional enrollment growth and campus expansion, ORU is globally recognized as the largest, most influential Spirit-empowered university in the world.

“This is a historic season of increasing interest in what is happening at ORU,” said President Dr. William Wilson. “Parents desire to see their children engaged at a university with high standards of academic excellence, and a safe, values-driven culture. Students want a learning environment where they can be themselves and express their individualism. ORU has the #1 ranked undergrad faculty in the West, according to US News & World Report. Our campus is one of the 30 most beautiful in the world, according to MSN, and is expanding to serve this amazing generation of students.”

ORU’s six colleges offer over 150 programs. This Spring, the top five majors at ORU included Nursing, Psychology, Ministry and Leadership, Business Administration, and Engineering. The graduate programs at ORU also increased enrollment for both full-time and part-time students.

With students coming from 50 states and representing 126 nations, ORU’s multicultural community has become a “home away from home” for its students. As student enrollment reaches record numbers, ORU is making campus additions which include the construction of four new state-of-the-art buildings, including a Welcome Center, the J.D. McKean Library, the Mike Carter Athletic Center, and a Media Arts Center. Also being added to the campus improvements will be the Fenimore Fisher Graduate School of Business, with a Capital Markets Trading Floor providing students actual exchange trading experience.

Alison Vujnovic, ORU’s Assistant Vice President of Enrollment Management - Residential, stated, “Our students are inspiring and a delight to work with. They have faced unique challenges during the pandemic and despite obstacles, they remain focused on their academic journey toward a degree. Our faculty’s support is phenomenal, which ensures every student can be successful at ORU now and in the years ahead.”
