Esports has become a significant part of collegiate sports, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents, engage in competition, and build a sense of community. At ORU, the esports program was launched with the opening of the E-Rena, a gaming and competition space that was dedicated in 2022. Since then, ORU’s esports program has grown with the addition of scholarship opportunities and an expanded roster.

“Winning the conference championship has been a remarkable journey,” said the team captain, Simeon Karne. “I'm grateful for the opportunity to work alongside such a talented group, and what we’ve achieved is a big steppingstone for ORU’s esports program. Looking ahead, we’re poised for even greater accomplishments, and I'm excited to see the heights we can reach together.”
