Tulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University will once again showcase its talented students
and faculty in its annual Christmas concert. This year’s theme, An Old English Christmas,
will feature popular holiday classics performed by ORU music students and faculty,
as well as ORU theatre students in dramatic interludes adapted from the play Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley. The interludes will tell stories of English Christmas traditions while the music
will offer both traditional and contemporary arrangements of songs old and new.
Admission to the Friday, December 6, 2019 concert is free but we ask everyone who attends to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to the Tulsa area Salvation Army. Doors at the Mabee Center open at 6pm with an opportunity to visit with Santa Claus while also enjoying some free refreshments and carolers on the concourse. The concert begins at 7pm. It will also be live-streamed on ORU’s website and social media accounts.
