Rachael Valentz is a 2004 graduate of Anna Vaughn School of Nursing with her BSN and a 2015 graduate of Northeastern State University with a Masters in Nursing Education. After graduation from ORU, she worked as an ICU nurse in Chicago's Mercy Hospital. After marrying her husband Matt, she became a travel nurse, working in Cardiovascular and Medical ICU's across the country. She joined the Anna Vaughn School of Nursing staff the fall of 2010 as the Simulation Lab Specialist. In 2015, Rachael became a faculty member teaching in the Pathophysiology, Health Assessment, Medical Surgical and Critical Care courses. She continues to work a flex position in a local ICU.
Besides work, spending time with friends, family and her dog Zoe, Rachael is an active participant at Transformation Church Greenwood. Hobbies include spending time enjoying the outdoors, snow skiing, hiking and reading.
