Dr. Rebecca Attah joined Oral Roberts University in 2018. From 2018 till now taught in the undergraduate and MBA (College of Business Finance subjects). From 2013-2016 taught in the undergraduate and MBA (Accounting and Finance Department), University of Professional Studies, Accra-Ghana
Teaching:
She regularly teaches courses on Personal Financial planning, Money and banking, corporate finance, international finance, and financial markets and institutions. She has also taught courses in economics, Portfolio management, investment, and management. In the classroom, she likes to bridge theory with practice, requiring students to do hands-on projects and research using data from real firms and the economy. She is passionate about incorporating bank operations and current financial events in his courses, therefore the Wall Street Journal and ProBanker are integral part of her classes. She also served as a reviewer for finance and management journals
Research:
Her research interests are in the areas of banking, stock market, corporate Finance, and international finance. She has published papers in peer-reviewed journals, presented research papers at leading national and international conferences and edited and reviewed for journals and conferences.
Non-Academic Experience:
Prior to joining academia, she served as a manager for a behavior health company, and commercial and investment banks in both national and international for several years. Other interesting tidbits:
She enjoys traveling across the globe with her family, reading Christian books and participating in Christian activities.
