Born in Fayetteville, Arkansas, Meg was raised in Classic Farm Country where she learned the value of hard work, faith, and perseverance from her parent’s leading examples. Even though she grew up in Arkansas, there were strong family ties to Oral Roberts University. Her great-grandparents were pastors and supported ORU from the beginning. Her grandfather, a pastor of over fifty years, alongside her grandmother faithfully serve the Lord and support ORU.

“I remember one time my Mom brought me back an ORU t-shirt from a conference at the Mabee Center in the late nineties. I loved that shirt and wore it all the time!” Weinkauf said.

Meg earned her Bachelors of Accountancy with a minor in Marketing from the University of Arkansas. While in college she began her business career and moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma in 2008 to take a position at the American Red Cross. During her time there Meg met and ended up marrying her amazing husband, Derek while serving together on the junior board of directors.

Meg is an entrepreneur at heart with sixteen years of industry experience from startups to large organizations. She would go on to earn her Masters of Business Administration from the Jack Welch Management Institute in 2017. Presently, Meg is working on her Ph.D. in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.

“It is such a privilege to teach at ORU and raise up whole leaders to positively impact the world,” Weinkauf exclaimed.

When she is not teaching, you will find her traveling, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with family and friends. Meg loves the local church and is an active community member locally, nationally, and globally. She is passionate about people reaching their full potential and enjoys a good cup of coffee.
