Felicity Jackson serves as a Lecturer of Computer Science in the Computing & Mathematics Department. As an ORU alumna, she received her Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Technology in 2018 and then a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Tulsa in 2022.
Her professional background bridges both technology and education. Felicity has served as a junior software developer, a STEM tutor, and an elementary school teacher in Tulsa Public Schools’ dual-language program, where she taught mathematics and English. At the University of Tulsa, she worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant in computer science, teaching and supporting introductory programming courses in Java. She also brings a unique dimension to her teaching through her experience as a figure skating coach and instructor, where she has worked with students of all ages, blending technical skill, discipline, and creativity.
In the classroom, Professor Jackson draws from her diverse teaching experiences to foster an environment that values clarity, encouragement, and whole-person learning. Her approach reflects ORU’s mission to educate students in spirit, mind, and body, equipping them to excel in computer science while also developing resilience and character.
As a proud ORU graduate herself, Professor Jackson is passionate about giving back to her alma mater and helping students discover how faith and technology intersect in transformative ways.
