What is PECE?

The ORU Fenimore & Fisher College of Business just launched a new, semi-annual, Luncheon Speaker series called PECE (Partners in Economics, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship, pronounced "PEACE"). While providing a dynamic forum for economic exchange, PECE offers a networking space for connecting business leaders and the ORU community.

Hans Helmerich

The ORU Fenimore & Fisher College of Business (F&FCOB) recently hosted its first Partners in Economics, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship luncheon (PECE (pronounced "PEACE") with special guest Hans Helmerich. During the event, ORU also announced the naming of the University’s newest building, the Media Arts Center, in recognition of Peggy V. Helmerich, an actress and philanthropist.

Jim Bridenstine

Oral Roberts University (ORU) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Redwire Space, a company committed to accelerating humanity’s expansion into space by delivering reliable, economical, and sustainable infrastructure for future generations. The signing was part of ORU’s Partners in Economics, Commerce, and Entrepreneurship (PECE) luncheon, which featured former NASA Administrator and former U.S. Congressman Jim Bridenstine.

Matt Pinnell

Matt Pinnell was the featured speaker at the fall 2024 event. He was elected as the 17th Lieutenant Governor of Oklahoma in 2018. As an entrepreneur himself, Matt champions small business growth with an agenda focused on economic development. Lieutenant Governor Matt Pinnell has generated more than $91 million in revenue for the State of Oklahoma through his tourism and recreation department initiatives. He is an active recruiter of companies considering expansion to Oklahoma.
