Homecoming 2016
Tulsa, OK – Oral Roberts University welcomes its worldwide community back to campus for Homecoming 2016 Nov. 10-12. It’s one of the university’s biggest celebrations. Hundreds of alumni and friends are expected to join current students, faculty and staff at a variety of events.
Here are some of the highlights:
Wednesday, Nov. 9 – 6-9pm - Christmas in the Gardens Celebration – the university will hold its annual Prayer Gardens lighting ceremony along with a reading of the Christmas story, hot cocoa and train rides.
Thursday, Nov. 10 – Eli Talks (like TED talks) - includes a graduate who teaches at West Point and “Freedom’s School” filmmaker Andrea Jobe.
Friday, Nov. 11 - 7-9:30pm - Homecoming Celebration Dinner & Alumnus of the Year Awards - featuring music from alumni Kelly Ford and Brian Nhira
Saturday, Nov 12 – 9:30-11am – Coffee, Cocoa & Canvas - an ORU art major guides alumni through an oil painting on canvas
Women’s Luncheon with Jill Donovan – 11:30am-1:30pm - ORU alumna and founder of the Rustic Cuff brand shares her journey
Switchfoot/Reliant K Concert – 7:30-10:00pm - The “Looking for America Tour”
