Notice: All students, faculty, staff and employees have the right to appeal any citation for violation of University Parking Regulations. To file an appeal, complete the following appeal form online or you can fill it out at the Department of Public Safety at the Hamill Student Center. All appeals must be submitted to the Department of Public Safety within 14 days or 10 business days of the date on the citation.
ATTENTION
Answers concerning your appeal will be sent to you in approximately two weeks from the time of submittal. All answers will be sent primarily by e-mail if provided, then by ORU C.P.O. box, and if no e-mail or C.P.O. box is given then you must furnish a self-addressed stamped envelope.
All appeals will be checked by the Administrative Officer and forwarded to the members of the Traffic Appeals Committee. The Committee will then decide on the appeal.
- If an appeal is Approved by the Traffic Committee, the citation(s) appealed will be voided.
- If an appeal is Denied by the Traffic Committee, the citation(s) must be paid. Failure to pay will result in "Financial/Transcript hold" for students. Students will be notified by mail or e-mail to the address provided in the appeal.
