Chemistry Professor Shares Insights on Water

Dr. Robert Stewart, chemistry professor, presented a technical paper at the Annual Southwest Regional Section of the American Water Works Association on Oct. 6 in Shreveport, LA. The title of his paper is "Determination of the Efficacy of Pretreatment of Raw Water with Chlorine Dioxide in Combination with Chlorine for Lowering Total Trihalomethane Maximum Formation Potentials." This work was supported by ORU and the City of Tulsa Water Treatment Department.
