Every J term course will be taught virtually (given applicable health restrictions). Lab classes and sessions will be available virtually as well.
All new and returning undergraduate students are eligible to take classes during the J term. If you’re interested and not already enrolled at ORU, contact an Enrollment Counselor in the Office of Admissions by emailing email@example.com or by calling 918.495.6518.
Federal Financial Aid is available for students who are enrolled in a combined six hours with the J-term and the main spring term. If you filed the FAFSA for 2020-2021 and received federal financial aid for the fall/spring semesters, no additional application is required.
The ORU Financial Aid Office will review the winter enrollment of every current federal aid recipient and notify you of your potential federal grants or loans via ORU email and Vision. Aid available includes the Federal Pell Grant, Federal Direct Student Loans, Federal Direct Parent Loans, and Oklahoma’s Promise Grants.
All federal aid requires a minimum enrollment of six credit hours to qualify.
If you are a US Citizen or Permanent Resident and have not previously filed the FAFSA online for the 2020-2021 academic year, the form is available at www.fafsa.gov. Newly submitted FAFSA information will be sent to the Financial Aid office electronically by the US Department of Education within 3 business days, and you will be included in the next group of students reviewed for federal aid eligibility. If you need assistance completing the form or have questions about federal financial aid, our Financial Aid Representatives are available to help you at 918.495.6510 or ORUFinaid@oru.edu.
Limited university housing will be available over the J term period on a first come, first serve basis. All students needing housing will be moving into temporary housing for the duration of the session. The housing rate for the term is $300. At this time there will be no on campus dining options available.
