Michael Kaste is a Visiting Instructor of Marketing. He teaches Principles of Marketing, International Marketing, and Introduction to Business.
Michael joined the ORU College of Business after 30 years in Product Marketing of Telecommunication services at the corporate level, transmitting live video and spot television commercials over fiber optics and satellite for such high-profile brands as Disney, General Motors, ESPN, NBC, and Procter and Gamble. During that time, he also completed his MBA at the University of Tulsa. Most recently he worked as the Cartography Product Manager and Digital Services Product Manager for Navico Marine Electronics, manufacturer of the worldwide Lowrance, Simrad and B&G brands.
His son Ethan is presently an engineering student at ORU. His son Owen attends Jenks High School and plays on the freshman soccer team. His daughter Alexandra recently graduated from the University of Tulsa and is applying to Masters of Fine Arts programs for Creative Writing and might eventually teach at the university level as well. Michael’s wife Jewel is a college-level Spanish teacher and also works at Epic Charter Schools. They have been attending Believers Church in Tulsa for over 20 years, where Michael also serves on the Board of Trustees.
