Dr. Elena Gregg comes to Oral Roberts University with over 15 years of teaching experience. She strives to be an example to her students carrying out the mission of building Holy Spirit-empowered leaders.
In the classroom, Dr. Gregg finds a variety of teaching methods works the best to effectively reach the students. Within her research and publications Dr. Gregg studied how the different instructional methods influence student’s performance. Dr. Gregg has multiple publications on how to improve performance through different methods, as well.
Dr. Gregg loves teaching, and the greatest reward for her is to see the “aha” moments when a student understands a difficult concept. She enjoys being a part of training and preparing students to make a difference for Christ.
Dr. Gregg is involved in many ways within the university and the community. She serves on multiple committees at the university and is the radiation safety officer. Dr. Gregg is also an avid volunteer in many community organizations. However, Christ for Humanity, holds a special place in her heart, as it is where she met her husband.
Dr. Gregg received her M.S. in Theoretical and Applied Spectroscopy at St. Petersburg State University in Russia. She went on to earn her Ph.D in Optics at State Optical Institute in Russia.
