The Oral Roberts University College of Theology helps students navigate and cultivate their specific calling. We equip Spirit-Empowered leaders to make real positive change in communities around the world. This looks different for everyone, and we offer different areas of concentration that will advance students in their leadership and ministry careers.
In this degree plan, you can choose from two different concentrations:
The Church Operations concentration is designed to thoroughly equip you for the responsibilities of church administration, and prepare you to support the functioning of a thriving church community. Foundational to this concentration is instruction on organization, programming, leadership dynamics, and the role of the church within its denomination and society. You will develop skills in the administration of nonprofit organizations, and learn important principles of effective management. Ministry and Leadership students will complete this program with extensive improvement and refinement in the art of biblical preaching and teaching, with a major emphasis on strong biblical/theological foundations.

B.A. Ministry & Leadership- Church Operations Degree Plan
In the Local Church Pastor concentration, you will be trained and equipped to grow the kingdom of God through leading at the local church level. You will receive broad knowledge and a diversity of skills in pastoral care, preaching, teaching the Bible, evangelism, mission work and discipleship developing pastoral attitudes and abilities to help them train, supervise, lead, and nurture a local congregation of believers. It emphasizes a strong biblical/theological foundation and provides well-balanced training in the theory and practice of pastoral ministry.
